and then help convert those stories into physical reality.
Dovetail Creative is owned and operated by Matthew Macar (that’s me).
With over 15 years experience working with small and brilliant brands to help them interpret their own most authentic voice and tone, I now seek to help my clients establish a creative philosophy first, which then guides every creative and cultural decision to “make sense” and feel natural.

I have also developed a creativity course called FeelCREATIVE to arm everyone with awareness of the fundamental principles of design and problem-solving. This tool is incredibly helpful in preparing individuals and teams to have deep and complex conversations and make confident decisions at the outset and throughout creative processes.
I believe that everyone has a creative instinct, but in this society and industrial world, not everyone has been given the space or tools to develop it. And I don’t mean creative skills or trades like graphic design or photography or musicianship… I’m referring the deep feeling through decisions that is the creative essence of any design project.
By sharing and teaching this knowledge and various solution-focused techniques, I seek to empower anyone with a project, idea, and dream to confidently make creative decisions with multi-sensory and emotional awareness, as well as more effectively collaborate with “creatives” throughout the rest of your life.
